Tuition
I offer limited personal tuition as and when my schedule allows, the length of a session being up to the individual student at a cost of £25 for the first hour and £15 per subsequent half hour.

My tuition is intended for intermediate/performing blues, rock & jazz guitarists who feel they have “hit a wall” with their playing. Topics covered include improvising single line solos, understanding scales and the modes, chords, their construction, extensions and substitutions and music theory.
Tuition is also available on how I arrange music for two guitars and finger style playing in general but if you have a specific topic you’d like to study in detail please contact me below.

I can also be booked by guitar societies / acoustic clubs etc to give workshops on specific topics and  techniques which include a performance demonstrating the actual subjects covered.

You do not need to read music to benefit from these workshops but in order to get maximum benefit would people wanting to study a specific genre or topic please supply me with as much information as possible regarding their playing ability and current musical knowledge.
